Congratulations to all those who passed their grading/belt promotion!
Grading can be a stressful time, not knowing what you will be asked to do or with whom. At Honryu Martial Arts our syllabus is structured and broken down into "bite size" chunks of information rather than the student being presented with an encyclopedia sized manual containing everything from beginner to advanced black belt techniques.
Many of you probably don't realise but our dojo is part of the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association's industry leading grading integrity scheme, this ensures that your grading is conducted in a structured, logical and fair manor. It means that your new grade is earned and not "given" just because you've attended the set number of sessions.
If you've been promoted then be proud, wear your new belt with pride and represent your art with integrity.
